Goals of UPMA
3 Goals of UPMA
1. UPMA Daycare Centers
Where Childhood is Restored UPMA is transforming lives by supporting the education of 800+ underprivileged children in Bundelkhand, UP. We provide tuition, books, shoes, uniforms, meals, and everything needed to build a strong foundation. In Chitrakoot, UPMA runs 10 day care centers across 10 villages, serving 325 children every day. These centers give little ones a safe, nurturing space while their parents work hard to earn a living. Before this, older siblings had to stay home to care for them, missing out on their own education. Two childhoods were being lost — one to caregiving, and one to poverty. Now, the younger child thrives in day care and the older sibling attends school with hope. UPMA is giving both children a chance to dream, learn, and grow. We believe every child deserves a joyful and educated childhood. Join us in this mission — because your support truly changes lives.
2. Give the Gift of Sight for Just $25 – Support Sitapur Eye Hospital
UPMA’s heartfelt mission is to bring light to those living in darkness. We are raising funds to support Sitapur Eye Hospital in Uttar Pradesh. Established in 1926, Sitapur Eye Hospital is one of India’s oldest and most trusted eye care institutions. Every $25 donation gives the gift of sight to someone in need. With that, you’ll receive details of the patient whose life you helped change. These surgeries help the underprivileged in Sitapur and Shahjahanpur areas. Thousands are waiting—children, parents, grandparents—hoping to see again. The hospital also urgently needs new equipment to continue its life-changing work. Your support can restore hope, dignity, and independence. Please come forward and donate generously — every dollar makes a difference.
3. Let’s Keep Our Culture Alive – Join UPMA’s Grand Festivities!
Join Us for the Best and Biggest Dandia of the Bay Area!
UPMA is deeply committed to promoting Indian culture and ensuring it lives on in the hearts of our children, our community, and future generations. As part of this mission, UPMA is proud to organize the Biggest Holi Celebration in the Bay Area, presented by San Jose Sharks, held outside the iconic SAP Center. Continuing this spirit, we are once again bringing the Best Dandia Nights to the Bay Area — featuring legendary artists Falguni Pathak, Ashwarya Majumdar and Shri Atul Purohit Ji. These are not just events — they are celebrations of heritage, unity, and joy. With such grand initiatives, your support and involvement are essential. We warmly invite you to become a part of this cultural journey and help us make it a tremendous success. Let’s celebrate together — for our culture, for our community, and for our future.
